STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Fan of Minecraft? We’ve got something special just for you.
“Minecraft: The Exhibition” made its premiere at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Friday, the first stop in what will be a several-years-long world tour.
According to SILive.com sister site NJ.com, the immersive exhibition — based on the best-selling video game was created by the Museum of Popular Culture in partnership with Mojang Studios — was designed to mark the 10th anniversary of the game’s public debut in 2009.
Awaiting visitors of the exhibition are several life-sized Minecraft characters, experiential dioramas, crafts, video interviews with creators, and much more.
And, of course, visitors can also play Minecraft right from the exhibition.
Admittance to the exhibition, which spans over 6,000 square feet, requires an add-on ticket beyond the price of Liberty Science Center admission.
The exhibition runs through Sept. 5, 2022.
